Luxury EVs under the FBT cap in Australia (2026)

Curated by ev-wiki-admin · 16 vehicles

My picks for EVs priced between $75,000 and the $91,661 FBT cap - the band that keeps the full exemption only until 31 March 2027. Ordered cheapest to dearest.

The FBT exemption makes a novated-lease EV dramatically cheaper, but only below the fuel-efficient luxury car tax cap, which is $91,661 for 2026-27. From 1 April 2027 that changes: only EVs under $75,000 keep the full exemption, and everything in this $75k-to-cap band drops to a 25% FBT discount instead. These are MY26 models sitting in that window. The cap counts options, accessories and delivery, so a car listed just under can still tip over.
